Myricetin

Myricetin is a naturally occurring flavonol, a flavonoid found in many grapes, berries, fruits, vegetables, herbs, as well as other plants. Walnuts are a rich dietary source. Trace amounts can be found as glycosides.It is one of the phenolic compounds present in red wine.

Function

1).Reducing the levels of blood sugar:

Myricetin has a good effect of reducing the levels of blood sugar.

Myricetin has effective restrain to cell proliferation of some tumor cells.

3）.Affecting the activation and proliferation of lymphocyte:

Myricetin can restrain the expression of CD69 which is the early activatory sign of T cells.

Myricetin can restrain the gathering of WRP and release of 52HT caused by PAF. It can also restrain the rising of Serum ionized calcium in the platelet caused by PAF.

Myricetin has the strong inhibitory action of the rise of ALT and AST in the blood Serum. It can low the total bilirubin in the blood serum. So myricetin has the strong action of lowing the aminotransferase and jaundice.
