The present invention relates to a plant extract of rosemary leaves, comprising the diterpenes carnosic acid and carnosol at a concentration ratio (carnosic acid) / (carnosol) of between 0.7 and 1.2. The invention also relates to the use of the extract for the production of animal feed, and to feed supplemented with said extract. The invention further relates to a method for obtaining the aforementioned plant extract.
